Pickleball Passport is developed by Ethan Acevedo. This policy explains how the app, this website, and optional support requests handle information.

Information in the app

You do not need an account. The developer does not collect personal data through the app. There are no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information.

Saved courts, trips, and preferences stay on your device

Your saved courts and, in versions with trip collections, trip names and selected venues are stored locally in the app's UserDefaults, along with preferences such as your selected nearby search radius. They are not sent to the developer. They may be included in device backups managed by Apple according to your device settings. Unsave a court or delete a trip collection to remove it from that list, or delete the app to remove its local data. A court kept in another collection remains there until removed. There is no app-operated cloud sync.

Search and external services

Searching the bundled directory works on your device. If you submit a search to Apple Maps or tap “Search more courts,” your search terms and selected state are sent to Apple's MapKit service. Apple handles these requests under its own privacy policy. In versions with Near me, tapping that feature asks for permission to use your location while the app is in use. Your location defines a search area sent to Apple Maps to find nearby courts and calculate straight-line distances on your device. Apple also provides the map and place name for your displayed search center. Approximate location works too. Pickleball Passport does not save your location, send it to the developer, or track it in the background. You can deny or revoke permission in iOS Settings and continue browsing by city or state.

Directions open Apple Maps. Source links open external websites such as Pickleheads, USA Pickleball, and Pickleball.com. Those services may collect information under their own policies. Sharing a court sends the information you choose to the destination you select.

If you contact support

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this only to respond to your request and resolve the issue. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us. Please avoid sending information that is not needed for support.

This website

This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, or contact-form tracking. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process routine request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. Vercel privacy policy ↗

Children

The app does not require an account or knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe personal information was sent to support by a child, contact us to request deletion.
